Well, I had my panni removal and tummy tuck 13 days ago and went back to work yesterday.
I work from home doing project mange, ent, so no lifting or strenuous work.
I am able to take breaks as needed, and have made a point to get up every 2 hours or so and sit in my recliner for a few minutes.
I am tired, but able to work.
I wish I had been able to take a full 2 weeks off, but had to use vacation time, and have plans to go to Europe in the fall and don't want to use any more time.

yeah, i would say 8 weeks to allow yourslef to fully heal and knock on wood if any complications arise. Im a stay at home mom right now but due to complications after surgery with infections, its been almost 5 weeks post op since TT and i'll need another 3 weeks at least to heal from it. I soon want to go back to work after my full recovery. thank god im not working right now and i can take my time.
Good luck
Good luck
I had a inner thigh lift and abdominoplasty and went back to work in 2 weeks. I was still slightly bent forward and one of my incisions had opened up, but I was able to take breaks through the day to pack and clean the wound. I had a LBL and went back to work in a week ahd a half. I am a middle school teacher so I spent more time than usual sitting and was exhausted at the end of the day, but okay!
I will be doing upper body next year (w/ breast lift, but no implants) and was told that if we did it on a Thursday I could go back to work on Monday if I had transportation. THis would mean with a drain, but I am pretty good at hiding things!

I may have had a few extra potholes along the way, but the journey has been good!

A lot depends on what happens during your recovery. I am in week 7 post of my medical leave and was due to return to work April 7th. Unfortunately, I developed to areas of necrosis and now have 2 open wounds along my incision lines. Depsite weekly debridement of dead tissue they are not healing so next week I go into the hospital (outpatient) so he can put me under, open the wounds and aggressively debride them. After which I will have a wound VAC. My 8 week leave is turning into more like 12 weeks-assuming the healing speeds up with the wound VAC (which should be the case from what I have heard from many people here).
