Dealing with shame of letting yourself need surgery?

I did feel this way after i had my RNY. I was so mad and upset with myself for letting myself get to 340 pounds and not being able to lose it without surgery. I did forgive myself which I believe is so important to keeping the weight off. Plastics was my reward for all my lifestyle changes. I was thrilled from the moment I realized I could make it happen. I consider myself so blessed!!

I absolutely LOVE how everyone has broken out of the chains of shame and blossomed into these strong women who are giving to themselves.  I LOVE how you were excited that there is a way to deal with the skin, etc., not feel bad, but excited.

All of your strength and excitment is contagious!

Thank you!
