How much did you lose when your skin was removed???
Mine didn't weigh how much skin he removed. I went in at 152.5 and with implants, swelling, etc I've been pretty much 149-150 over the past 2-1/2 weeks. I know my upper scars from the RNY laproscopy are probably 4-6" lower than they started out.
You WILL look deformed for a while - just mentally prepare yourself for it. I felt like a praying mantis the first week or two between the oddly shaped implants, being hunched over, the incision all away around, etc. Doc told me to not look in the mirror every day but to wait 2-3 days to really notice changes. I took photos the day before, and last week and will probably take some tomorrow or the next day - it helps to compare things more realistically and see the progress you might not notice in the mirror. I'm not ready to post them even with blacked out areas just because I've got some OH friends that I also see in person at support group meetings and that would just be awkward!

My doc said probably 5-7 pounds, and it wound up being a bit over 6. I was not a "big" loser, though, having only lost about 60 pounds. However, i have also had 7 pregnancies which caused a lot of the skin issues.
I was thrilled not to have to have lipo. He said my underlying muscle structure was great, and there really wasn't much residual fat that would benefit from lipo.
I am 13 days out from my lower body lift, and down 12 pounds on the scale from the morning of surgery. This surgery almost seems to have jump-started my weight loss again.

It depends on how much you losr, and how low your BMI is at the time of plastics (how much fat you have left).
I had my plastics at a normal BMI, after losing about 140 pounds. I had 7 pounds removed with my LBL, and 4 with my thigh lift. Not everyone sees a difference on the scale though, because the skin the surgeon removes is filled with fluids, and your body restores some of that. It's tissues and fluids that get removed. For an overall removal of about 11 pounds, my scale changed about 6-7 pounds total. What matters more, is that I went down 2 pants sizes, from a 10 to a 6.
