Arm Lifts...

Has anyone here had an arm lift. It is something that I'm VERY interested in. People aren't very encouraging because of the scarring. I think I'd rather live with the scars rather than what seems to be 5+ lbs of hanging skin.

Thoughts?

I had bat wings that were more like flags - I probably could have survived a drop off the empire state building just by opening my arm wings. It was bad.
My scars are worth the trade for sure. At over 1 year post-op, the scars are very light,

Awesome!!

I'm a little afraid because African Americans often have keloid issues after surgery BUT I believe that trading the possibility with what I have going on now will be worth it!!

I will take the scars over the hanging skin any day.

My scars are on the back of my arms, so I don't see them and they have faded nicely.

I had about 3 pounds removed when I did both arms and a breast lift together. Then about 4 pounds removed when I did my tt last week.

I'm hopeful that it will be all that I want it to be. My arms are so huge and I'm ready for these things to be GONE!

I love my arm lift.  I was wearing large tshirts three months ago and now my arms fit well into small or petite small shirts.  I love to just reach up and wrap my fingers around my arms.  Now I'm ready to lift some weights and define my arms.

Congrats on your success!! I still get excited that I can now wrap my fingers around my lower arm. I'm not sure what I'll do when I can do it with the top of my arms..lol!

LOL, I can't wrap them all the way around but I can grasp them and smile.  I don't have tiny arms but I have arms that are perfect for my body and they work incredibly well.  :)

I had my arm lift on 2/21.  Scars are in areas where nobody will notice.  Last year I bought a shirt I just loved, but discovered I couldn't fit my arms in it so back in the closet it went.  I tried it on the other day and then just cried - hapy tears of course :]   In my opinion, for my arms, whatever scars I end up with is well worth it!!
