If I do not want my surgery before August, when would you suggest to start making appointments to go to consultations?

Now. That's only 5 months away and good surgeons can be booked solid way before then.

I totally agree with Laura... Now is the time.  I met with my PS months before and this way I was able to get the date that I wanted.  Good luck to u...this is a very exciting journey!

I agree with the others, start the process sooner than later.  It may take you time to find the surgeron you like, and it could take a while to get in for the series of appointments, let alone booking the surgery.

I'd also highly recommend you start doing core and strength training now, it will make your recovery process so much easier and you'll be ahead of the game toward looking good with the new contouring.    I had a BA along with the LBL & TT and being able to stand up and sit down without using my arms, pec & chest muscles not only prevented a lot of unnecessary pain, but allowed that area to heal faster.   I'm fortunate to have a really good trainer who has worked with people who've had PS before & after, so he knew what areas to focus on the most.   I credit him for getting me ready for my surgery and my husband for getting me through it!

Good luck.

Definitely now. I had to wait 4 months just to get a consult with my doctor. He was booked solid until then. I've booked each surgery at least 4 months before the surgery date with him to ensure I get the date I want. The good surgeons out there can book up quick. Good luck with everything!!
