I had intentions on taking pictures tonight to "see" my progress (day16), but I got sidetracked by my elation! Up until today I was afraid to get on the scale, I knew my waist was larger & despite losing my drooping panni I figured I would be unhappy with the number. To my surprise & with some swelling still left I'm down 13 lbs!!! I am so happy; I can't wait for the day when I can "see" how I will ultimately look!

Congrats!!!! I bet that felt awesome! Have. You measured yourself and compared the before and after measurements? I am 10 days post op and still 4 lbs up from the weight I was the day of surgery ( I know, I should stay away from the scale. Curiosity just got the best of me). My surgeon took off 6 lbs, so I am technically up 9 lbs right now. I am pretty swollen though so I'm not shocked. How many lbs did your surgeon take off? Congrats again! I'd love to see pics of your results!
Your just like me. I didn't weigh myself till about two weeks out. It still goes up and down a bit but I just wanted a ballpark. I am probably down 9 so a little jealous of you 13. :) but mostly i want to keep track since I have been pretty inactive and don't want the weight sneaking back on. (I know I have to realize that even if the scale moves its probably the swelling) congrats!

Thank you!!! I actually never asked how much he removed. You can bet that'll be one of my first questions when I see him later this month. I feel like a moth...transformed into a butterfly. Despite seeing all the photos of all the people who have undergone ps after wl I never really believed that I could look the way that I do. Of course I'm far from perfect, but I'm light years from where I was.
