Recovery & pain info for breast reduction/lift?

See my siggy for what and when.

Pain was no biggie for me - I was standing almost straight at my 1 week appointment, and moving around ok. My arms were the biggest issue, but that was because no matter what part of my body I intended to move, my arms wound up moving as well instead of resting. The breasts were no problem.

I did keep up with the pain meds religiously - good stuff for 2 days, then extra strength Tylenol for a couple days, then regular Tylenol until I forgot to take them. I went back to work in 2 weeks, but did need a full day and a half day off to go home and sleep, but nothing for the pain.

Good luck with it - the pain tolerance seems to be hugely variable!

Ok, maybe this won't be so bad then... you ladies have certainly helped put my mind at ease!  Not like I'm going to back out regardless, but I'll all for a less painful situation...

How long was it before the breast shape settled out?  The doc said something to me about how they might look 'weird' for a bit... but I'm not sure what he means!
