Cross post: Anyone have breast reduction while losing?

I  will be going for a consultation soon to fix my breasts.   It is not for looks at all, altho it'd be nice!

I have always had disproportionate breasts since I started developing, and never had perky breasts, EVER!  Always sagging and "flat" like ho****er bottles.  It's getting worse and flatter and going further south, as I lose weight and I have been getting Recurrent mastitis due to disproportionate breasts (copied/pasted that from my visit summary at doc's yesterday).

So anyone experience this?

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

Yes I have. While the left lost some, the right lost much more. I am so disportionate, I have to wear a water pad insert in the right cup or it's extremely noticeable. My shirts sit crooked, my neckline hangs to the right and the hem of a shirt will hang crooked. I know am breaking out in a rash where that pad sits, but my tummy is a mess of rashes all the time now, too. My surgeon has submitted to insurance, hopefully they'll approve.

I strongly encourage you to wait until you are done losing. My shape has changed in the past couple month's, even though I've been at goal for a while now. If you get your breasts fixed too early, you may get more saggieness then you'd ultimately be happy with. Of course if you go see a surgeon, they'll recommend what they think is best for you too.

Good Luck,
Heidi

Yes, mine were a mess too. My right breast was always much bigger. I had lots of lumps in that breast which was probably a big factor. I never found a bra that would work. (I really think I should invent a bra that has two different cup sizes. )anyway when I sent my dr my naked pics is when I realized how bad they really were. I am only 13 days out and couldn't be happier. It is totally worth it. I have probably more scars than the usual, but I think that's because of the issues I had, but it's so much better.

Thank you.  I am always having hard time finding a bra, not knowing the correct size, and I just go by "as long as I can get all of the breast in the bra i'm good to go!" LOL

I did not, at the suggestion of multiple plastic surgeons. I was glad I didn't, because when I lost the last 10 pounds, almost all of it was from my breasts. I went from being squished into a D-cup to a very wrinkly and sad B-cup. While it was annoying, I am glad I waited.
