I'm going to call the doctor in the morning but I figured I'd ask here if others have dealt with this issue.
I'm 13 days out from brachioplasty. One arm has always has more swelling. I've noticed that the swelling on the inner part of that elbow never seems to go down. At times it really blows up. It is my dominant & that arm pit is the least painful so I think I may be using it more without realizing it. I was wondering if I should use an ace bandage over my that area. My compression sleeves only go a few inches past my elbow.

I still have swelling in my right inner arm down by the elbow. I have a big knot (seroma). I keep massaging it per my drs orders and for a while it went down, but it flares back up. It has been pretty big he last few days. I've done lots of googling and I know this is rather common. I just hope hat my body ends up absorbing it soon. I wish I had more advice for you, but I wanted to let you know you aren't alone :-)

I had alot of pain in the forearm area and just below the elbow caused by the swelling and pressure in the upper arm. I bought compression stockings (for the legs) and cut off the toes. The stocking stretches from wrist to upper arm/shoulder area. Solved my problem and pain in 24 hours. I have found now that 12 hours a day in the compression keeps me pain free.
It was the doc's idea to use the compression stockings.
Good luck and hope you feel better soon!
