Different surgeons for different procedures?
Hi everyone. I got wonderful news this week. A family member has offered to loan me the money to have my PS. I'm very excited!
I am going to see a friend of her's who is a PS in Little Rock for a consult. She does fabulous tummy tuck work however I don't care for her breast lifts and she doesn't have many pictures of thighs/arms either. Would you have different surgeons do different work? This PS is also 11 hours away. I'm kinda concerned about the drive home.
One other question, I'm very active. I do hoop dance for exercises and also attend a lot of music festivals. Should I ask for the surgeon to make my belly not as tight so my movement isn't restricted? I will need to bend over backwards and things like that.

I personally would want one good surgeon who could do them all! You do sometimes get discounts for multiple procedures and they can combine certain surgeries which would also save you money. My PS was 90 minutes away and I thought that was far.....
I would also want them to make my tummy as tight as possible...I want a flat tummy! After you heal...you will be able to do the same as you did before..
good luck to you on your search.

I think you can go to different surgeons for different pieces of it. I just had my second consult myself, and walked away from it really impressed with the face/neck work of the second surgeon (he's also double board-certified, plastic surgery and otolaryngology), but liking the body work of the first surgeon much better (he specializes in post-bariatrics). So now, I'm kind of thinking I may go to one for the face/neck lift, and the other for all the rest. Cost savings doesn't really enter into it as all of this would be separate procedures for me anyhow.
Now I just need to get this last thirty pounds off!
