Interesting. To me the perfect shape was way more important than a perfect scar. My scar is not perfectly symmetrical, but my shape is pretty close to perfect.

Laura, my surgeon and I had a conversation about an even scar line vs. compromising results. I kept probing him to ask HOW we could ensure success in both categories. In the end, I got both a perfect shape and an even scar line. :)

I had been wondering about the itching when taking any of the narcotics. They make me itch like mad, so I have to limit how much I take. Glad to know benadryl helps. I have actually damaged my skin in my sleep from scratching so much.
