Did anyone have the 'hair' removed during armlift?

I had read it is possible to have the hairy part of the underarm removed during armlift.  Has anyone had this done?  Just curious.

Some of mine was removed.  I had mine on 12/9/11 and have yet to need deodorant, which I used daily before surgery.

I'd guess it depends on how much skin needs to be removed but I had an armlift done in November & I have a tiny patch of hair about the size of a quarter left under my left arm & an even smaller patch under my right.  Not sure if you can ask to have it all removed.  I also haven't needed deorderant since surgery.  I'm hoping it stays that way! lol

My current goal is to loose half of me.... at 163.5lbs I will be half gone!

I'm only days out but my doctor told me based on what he was removing I wouldn't need deodorant any longer & most if not all hair would be removed. I had very loose flesh up in my arm pits which was pinched & tweaked during my markings.

Yes, I had a follow up with one of my consult PS yesterday and I asked him this question.  He said yes, it is a possibility.  Depends on the amount of extra skin that needs to be removed in order to get  a nice result.
