He's supposed to be the best in the area, but I don't know anyone that's actually had surgery with him. Someone here had a consult with him, but ultimately went with another doctor. Have you checked out the before and after pics on his site? Let us know how the consult goes.

Hi there.  Yes, I have checked out the pics on his site and I have done a search for any posts on OH with his name.

I also had the opportunity at the 2011 OH Conference to check out some of his work on two of his employees that have had pretty extensive work done by him and they looked great,

Just looking to gather as much information on him as possible.

Thank you for your reply.

I heard he's really good.  But I'm down in Salem Oregon - so I had mine done in Portland (It's where my insurance would cover it).

Good luck!

I haven't used him, but I am moving to Seattle next month and am planning on plastics later this year.  I'm just starting to do research.

I look forward to a summary of your consult and your thoughts of him and the office.

Thanks.

I consulted with Dr. Dr, Dr. Egrari, Dr. Pratt and Dr. Mary Lee Peters. I had always assumed I'd go with Dr. Dry since I'd been to one of his talks at Evergreen. But I'm an obsessive researcher and spent hours pouring over all of their before and after photos both online and in subsequent office visits. In the end I felt that Dr. Dry had the best looking thigh lifts but I didn't really like any of his breast lifts. And I felt that his belly buttons were too artificial looking. Dr. Egrari's boobs were better but he wasn't interested in including me on the final sizing and he didn't have a lot of thigh work I liked.

Dr. Peters was my last consult and I loved her. I went to see her three times before I made my decision. We went over every aspect of the surgery and scar placement and sizing together. She even went over her before and after books with me and told me what she did and didn't like about each result. Sometimes patients didn't follow her advice and other times she'd learned new techniques since the surgery pictured and explained to me how those new techniques would apply. She's approachable, a perfectionist, and she really listens.

In her pictures her belly buttons and breast lifts looked very natural and feminine. Same was true of her LBL. Drs. Egrari and Dry had pictures that looked a little boyish but my lift is very feminine. I have  a super flat tummy but still have a waist and look like a girl.

After 6 months of analyzing I went with Dr. Peters and have been very happy with my choice. I need to update my pictures so you can see my after shots. I would have gone with her no matter what but the fact that she cost significantly less than the Eastside docs was a real bonus. On my LBL and BL/BA alone I saved $7k. And got no interest financing. Her procedures also include complication insurance which the other docs didn't - that tells you something about her complication rate, she wouldn't have the insurance if she had complications.

Not trying to sway you, Dr. Dry is great and people I've talked to who've seen him are happy. But to be perfectly annoying I think my results look better than theirs. I went to RealSelf and Dr. Peters had a promotion so the consult was free. Since Dr. Dry was out of town on an emergency I figured I might as well go see her, her office is two blocks from my work, and I'm really glad it all worked out that way.

She's doing my thighs next. And my friend who is interested in a breast reduction asked to see mine (she's the only person brave enough to ask) and booked herself with Dr. Peters too (after saying "holy sh&%*, you look like a teenager"). I probably still look like a middle aged woman but it's the best I've ever felt about myself since I was 19.

Happy to answer any questions.
