Drains out and swelling
Well I got my drains out on Monday and my PS told me to watch for swelling in my tummy. I have been doing that and when I saw her she told me the top of my belly had some fluid in it and to place a hand towel in my binder to add pressure to that spot and get rid of some of the fluid pu**** down ward. I have been doing that but now today I see swelling in my lower belly. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?? I really don't want her to have to drain it with a needle on Monday if I can help it. Is this normal? Any and all suggestions will b e helpful.

Seromas are very common, if that is what you have.
Keep the compression on with the extra towel and see if it helps.
I have had one persist in my right arm.
It has been drained multiple times. No big deal.

i have this issue with my tummy tuck. My PS tried to draw it out with a needle and syringe (didn't hurt because the area he was tring to draw if from is still numb), but he couldn't get it so I have to wait and go back for another try next week. I'm not sure what is next if it doesnt work next week.
Time, massage, walking, pressure with support garments/binder and lots of water seems to help most..
I rub down at least once a day with arnica massage oil from Sprouts. Initially I used it on the arms and legs parts with out any incisions.. now I rub it everywhere.. smells goods and feels nice.. the base oil is olive oil..
I gently massage the tummy with the support garments on..
Short walks helps with circulation..
adjusting your binder and support garments
drinking lots of water.. some folks utilize low sodium food plans ..
The great thing is.. it does get better with time..
