Day 5

Well I went to the Dr Monday and after 3 days out of surgery she took my drains out. I am so glad. Now I can shower. LOL it's the little things that count. I am going strong and been out and about. Go back to the Dr on Monday again. As far as the pain it isn't so bad anymore. I am however itchy. taking binadryl to help. Thank for all your support.

OMG im so jealous! you got your drains out before me. LOL, im happy to hear about your progress so far and boy i cannot wait to shower again! Im still very sore and taking the pan meds, My pain pump came out yesterday, but still have 2 drains left in. Each day is getting better, thank god. Did you look at your new tummy yet? Are you still required to wear the tummy binder?

Thank you, yes I still have to wear the binder I amnot sure for how long but I don't mind.  I have looked at my new tummy and love it. I didn't have a pain pump but I am glad that you were able to get yours out. Good luck and I will follow your progress.

You can't shower?

I was expected to shower daily- drains and all.

I can't imagine.
