Surgery tomorrow!

It's hard to believe my LBL and butt augmentation are tomorrow morning!  I am excited and nervous at the same time.  I think I am mentally and physically prepared for this.  I've been listening to a, "Preparing for Surgery" CD the last few days, eating right, and getting exercise.  I am in the very capable hands of Dr. Krieger so I am not at all worried about his and his surgical team's ability to do a tremendous job.  I'm most worried about the pain level and the level of frustration I may develop due to the lack of mobility.  How did you keep yourself mentally "propped up" during recovery?

Oh my goodness, good luck tomorrow! I'm still pre-plastics, so I have no advice for you. You certainly sound well-prepared for your procedures, so I'm sure you'll do great.

Best of luck to you tomorrow! You have done all that you could have to prepare yourself. Tomorrow is also my day, so we can recover together!

Congrats to both of you on your surgeries tomorrow.  I am so jealous!  No, just kidding.  But I do wish things would move a little faster.  I guess I am just impatient with getting all my ducks in a row before I have surgery.  Sounds like you have got yours in a row.  Best wishes for success!!!

Good luck to you!  This is very exciting...I was exactly as you were...so excited and nervous too!  The one bit of advice I can tell you is Keep your eye on the prize.  I won't lie..the first week is tough...very tough.  But knowing that I would end up with my flat , long awaited tummy kept me going!  Stay on top of your pain by taking the pain meds as prescribed.  I hope you also have help at home...my husband was home with me for 5 days and it was a hugh help.  I was not hungry at all...so I did have some protein drinks.  I would get those to have at home.

After the first about 4 days..things do get better one day at a time.  The 10 day mark was about my turning point.

Good luck to you.....remember keep your eye on the prize..the new you!

Congrats to you!!1 i so wish i was at this point now but i have hope that my day will come, ( believe it or not i have been playing the nc lottery hoping i can win enough money for plastics and to clean up my credit and get an amazing new wardrobe lol)  I wish that the other lady who was doing her plastics tomorrow was in your area and you in hers it would be alot easier to go through it with someone. I think yall should exchange numbers so you cant atleast text each other through out the day if your awake lol.. and see how each are fairing through this. I Pray to God for the both of you  that he guides the doctor's hands and she whittles out your amazing new looks, and that your surgery is routine and no bad things come about i pray speedy recovering and that healing light surrounds you your doctor his team his operating room his practice and all those that see his work through you and the other lady who goes to morrow for  surgery and that his practice thrives because of it. Amen

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers!  Wow, I am smiling right now.  The OH community is amazing.  I am staying at my Mom's house for recovery (god bless her for taking care of me!)  It was kinda funny watching her "ride" my lift recliner to test it out.  Tonight we are going to watch an oldie but goodie funny movie--Revenge of the Nerds!  Nothing like a little comic relief before the big day.  I just had Mom take some "before" pictures of me and I plan on posting tons of pictures when I am feeling up to it.  I know how much I appreciated people sharing their before and after pics, and I certainly won't be shy about sharing my experience.  If it means I can help someone through their Plastics experience, by all means I am willing to help!

How exciting for you! I hope your pain level is being well managed. I'm hopefully not too many weeks behind, so can't tell you how to keep sain with lack of mobility. But maybe getting outside every nice day you can, even if it is just walking down the driveway and back?
Good luck, and happy healing!
