Thinner waist, thicker thigh ladies--Jean brand recommendations??

I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't really exercised since my surgery. I just was released to exercise a short time ago and haven't pushed it because I was dealing with my iron issue and cardiac stuff. I'm just this week planning to get back to the gym. I have done some pretend tennis strokes and don't think I'll have an issue with tennis. I honestly wouldn't run unless I was being chased by a lion--LOL! I did some jogging in place after I saw your note. I think with a reasonably supportive bra I'd be okay. I think the laxity on my chest prior to my implants allowed for more movement than I will get with the implants in place. Wish I had better information for you. If I do brave a light jog at the gym, I'll let you know how it goes. If I had to be completely honest, I think I'd go a smidge smaller--I'm running a G cup in underwire bras (although I am in a DDD right now, however, it is not fitting as well as it should) and am having to be more careful with the fit of my shirts because if they don't fit just right it is too blousy and I look pregnant. Too tight and I look, well, huge breasted. My husband would have me go bigger if I would. It is like I said before, I can dress them up or down (or is that in or out?) and naked I really don't think they look disproportionately large.

Good luck deciding! Any other questions feel free to ask!

Thank you for the info!  I don't do a lot of jogging but I love to run now because I can.. you know?  I think your figure is very nice and proportionate in a good way. You are my role model!

My waist is smaller then my thighs and butt but I refuse to wear mom jeans so I buy ones that come up to my hips and then I have no problem can buy size 6 anywhere and they fit fine.  Since my tt I can't stand anything tight around my waist, if I wear belts they have to be super thick, I can't wear belted coats or anything like that.

Good luck

Levis makes a "curvy" line. I have a waist that is 13" smaller than my hips, so finding jeans has always been a challenge. I love the levis curvy stretch jeans and they come in petite, med and tall.

My friend said the same of the Lane Bryant "Curvy" shape. I'll definitely check out the Levis. I've also thought that maybe I just need to get a belt!! :)

Thanks!!

This is going to be a problem for me after my tt. It's so difficult to imagine now that I will able to to wear different styles of jeans without having to accomodate all this flesh!

Levi's, Gap, and Old Navy seem to work for me, but I still have not found one I LOVE. i don't think I will love any until I get my thighs done. The thigh skin definitely gets in the way. Bleh...

I have this problem too.  My jeans are constantly trying to fall down because they don't fit my waist.

The best I've found so far are calvin klein jeans.  They are a little higher rise (but not grandma high -- still below the belly button) so they don't feel too big.

Hi Denise,
I was having the same problem too. I now wear low rise in all my jeans. If the rise is too high...I get a muffin top effect from the loose skin and the droopy crotch thing. (I'm still pre-tummy tuck.) My waist is much smaller than my thighs...workable, definitely.

I went to Goodwill this weekend...and finally had the patience to dig. I found 2 like new pair of X2 Jeans. I had no idea who made them, but size 8's fit like a dream and the denim was a little heavier weight. $7.00 each!! I Googled when I got home and they were from Express. Someone here at work said she loves Express jeans as well. I hate the paper thin over stretchy jeans they're making now. I have found Old Navy jeans are a good fit, if you don't mind the thinner stretchy denim.

Good luck on your perfect jeans quest!
