Update - 4 Weeks Post LBL (Long, but with a pic)
I am so impressed by your transformation, honesty, and forthrightness. You look absolutely stunning. I have been contemplating having a LBL and BL this year, and I have to tell you, there is a real psychological component to this step of the journey. By reading your story and others, I know that this step is going to take strength, support, mental and physical preparation, and tenacity. I admire your courage and strength for undertaking this step of the journey. The results are amazing for you and other posters. One just has to go through hell to get to the other side.
Thank you,
Gail

You look awesome! Thank you so much for your honest assessment of your surgery and recovery. I would like to have plastics this year for a LBL and armlift. I read everybody description of their surgeries, pain and recoveries so that I can understand what I will be going through too and the pictures tell the real story. Thanks again.
You have a really beautiful, womanly figure!! Fantastic results!! You must be thrilled beyond belief!
Congrats!

You give me so much inspirations. Your legs look great. Did the LBL do that, the marathons you run or both? Or did you not have issues with your legs. Just when I think my face lift, etc is what I will do first, I see photos like these.
I appreciate your honesty regarding the recovery. It is hard to gauge the difficulty of the surgery by reading everyone who posts. But I must say by and large, it is a challenging recovery.
You look sensational...you must feel so proud.

My legs were pretty bad at the top. I carried so much of my weight in my butt and thighs. The LBL really helped. I feel like I have a solid muscular structure under all my fat, but I have to give my plastic surgeon credit for my legs. He lifted the outer thigh. I think there is some inner thigh lifting too. He did some sculpting (lipo and adding fat to spots) to ensure my hips didn't come out boxy. He lifted my butt too. I didn't realize how much excess skin I had on my butt until my LBL. There is a significant change in the size and shape of it.
I only did one marathon. I promised myself I would do one before I was 40. I did the Austin Marathon. I'm glad I did it, but never felt the need to to another one. I ran 3-5 miles 5 days a week for years while I was in the Air Force. It was the only way I could begin to control my weight. My weight kept creeping up anyway. Once I finally retired, I quit running and started piling on the weight. I continued walking, but it got harder as I got heavier.
