thanks!  I am going to do this!  I am really retaining fluid and I am 8 mos post op!  I had a lot of work done and water weight has always been an issue for me!

I've been an RN for 23 years too!  Yippie!

Lemme know how it works for you.

I look at it this way...anything that makes water more enjoyable...I'm there!

And if it makes me pee more...it's a bonus!!

Parsley is suppose to help too! I think Lee had mentioned Papaya & Watermelon. I've been using Arnica for the swelling. I am not sure its helping.. Gosh, I wish I had a nursing background.. that would be helpful in evaluating my own recovery.

Good luck on your swelling and water retention..the Time of the Month can be a B..

Update:  got the stuff last night, sliced, and let sit overnight (forgot the mint though.)  It does taste yummy!  I'll be drinking today! Thanks again!

Good to know it's yummy.  I think water consumption it difficult for a lot of us.  I know I'm in the same boat and resort to using a lot of things like crystal light but I hate all the artificial sweeteners.  This sounds like a great option and much healthier.  Thanks for trying it out.  I'm getting the stuff today!!

Good for you!!

My 7 yo daughter even asked for a glass last night!
She never drinks water.

I went to sleep hoping she wouldn't pee the bed.

Laura- right there with you!!

I can't take Crystal Light any more.

I think I have had too much of it in the last 2 1/2 years.

Find myself looking for options because I know I need to drink.

Plus the fact that I swell at the drop of a hat...does not make me enamored of water.

I am drinking it right now and I love it!  I shredded the cucumber and added some lemon zest and a squeezed lemon!  I was afraid the ginger might be overwhelming, but the mint is perect with the lemon and ginger!  I hope it works!  I will let you know!

Lemon juise is the perfect diuretic, I drink lemon water all day every day, it just ruins your teeth though, so be careful.
