excess skin removal before pregnancy

What are your thoughts on having excess skin removal before pregnancy? Has anyone here down it or know someone who did? How did the stomach look after the baby? Thanks :)

I had a lower body lift with muscle repair and a breast lift back in November 2008. I then found out I was pregnant in May 2010.
I will be honest, I ate very carefully and nutritionally. I only gained about 13-20 pounds. But I did not get very big. There were days that my stomach really hurt because it was sooo tight and the stretching of the skin to accomadate the baby did hurt.
But its been a year now and my stomach is almost literally as tight as it was after surgery. I still can't do situp though without my muscle spazing up. So I struggle with that.
But I am really glad I had the skin removed before my pregnancy!

 I wondered the same thing thanks you answered my question as well. I figured jus****ch what you eat and maintain. 

Thanks for sharing your story! I've been wondering about this as well, but have never asked a surgeon about it. I just assumed that it wouldn't be too bad so long as you didn't gain too much weight, so I'm glad to hear that that is basically true.
