Inner Knee Lipo

My inner knee fat is really bad.  The rest of my legs look pretty good for now and I'm still toning.  I'd wear shorts and skirts except for my knees.

Has anyone had lipo, smart lipo or laser lipo on just their knees?  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I've had in around the upper/inner part of my knees.  Problem is that you're left with deflated, saggy skin, which also doesn't look good.  I eventually needed to just get a full thigh lift.

Thanks Michelle!

I know that I want to get a full thigh lift after I lose my final 30 pounds.  Should I have both done at the same time? Would that save money?

I need both really bad I will not wear dresses or short because it's just hangs so badly it looks like waves and does cause some knee pain! I'm tryning to get insurance to cover it but may drs in my area don't preform ligh lifts because they say it's to dangerous! Would anyone happen to know if insurance will cover a thigh lift? Who painful and hard was it to heal?

If you scroll back a few pages (it might be more like five pages), you can read a poster's experience with her thigh lift. You can also run a search on "thigh lift" and see what comes up. General word of mouth here is that it's a difficult procedure to recover from, harder than the LBL. I think I've heard of one person here who had their thigh lift covered by insurance, so it's very rare that insurance will cover it. Another poster here had significant knee pain from the excess skin on her thighs, and still couldn't get the thigh lift covered.

Thank you I'm kind of frustrated with the whole thing I'm glade in so many ways that I had gastric because it did save my life, but on the other hand all my skin all over still makes me feel fat! I think insurance should have to pay for the removal of anyone who has under gone these surgeries to help them live a normal life! We shouldn't have to prove anything and jump threw hoops we at least deserve it if we've met or goals or maintained for so long! Summers. It even here and I'm sleeping with fans on just not to be sweaty and itcty. I thank you and hope may be someday the laws will change because I'd like to be yeast free in all areas with the possibilities of wearing dresses or shorts.

The loose skin is definitely a mind trip. I didn't know anything about loose skin when I first started losing, and because of that couldn't really "see" the results of my efforts. Reading these forums and looking at the pics posted helped me understand my options, and now I feel a lot better knowing there are procedures that can fix my body. I'll be going self-pay, because my insurance doesn't cover anything reconstructive due to weight loss.
