I appreciate your comments.  I hope you post photos.  Congratulations on having your PS.  The second surgeon I saw on takes CareCredit on 6 month terms....that would be a HUGE monthly payment.  So I'm now trying to decide what to have done first and by whom.

without a LBL and thighlift, the surgeons I consulted with in Denver would have sent me home also.  I do think the thighlift makes a big differece, as does the LBL, in your recovery and the difficulty you have returning home that soon.  Just my opinion.
I had a brachioplasty, hernia repair, lipo and an extended TT and I was moving around fairly well, the recovery of the LBL and thighlift were much more difficult.

I can tell you after enduring the LBL/Anchor TT/Full Thigh lift all at the same time, there is no way I would have been able to go home after one day.  I was still needing constant nursing assistance for showering and dressing changes.  I don't know how people do it.  The thigh lift is a very difficult procedure and adding it to the LBL, you are just not able to do much for yourself.,

how was your thigh lift done?  The scariest thing in this for me is the thought of when I open my eyes for the first time, what will I feel like?

Dr S did lipo first and then he did the long thigh lift from the groin to past the knee.  If you look at me from the back you won't see the scars.  From the front, you will only see the ones in the groin area.  If I wear shorts the scars are covered.  Of course, if I sit down and you see between my legs, the scars are evident.  Waking up from the LBL/Anchor TT and Long Thigh wasn't half as bad as waking up after the facelift.
The thighs hurt, but with percocets - once I left the hospital at one week post op, I was okay.

The facelife was worse?  I had a consult the other day and asked that question.   So many people say so many different things.  My step-mother said it was really, really, really rough.

without a doubt!  My facelift was the absolute worst of all surgeries.  My eyes didn't hurt, it was my neck and ears.  When I woke up the next day, I slept fairly well that night becauce of the good IV meds - Dr S walked in just as I was asking myself, "what the heck have I done!?"  He was so excited to see how I liked my results when I took my garment off for the first time, it reminded me of a parent on Christmas day - waiting for the kidlings to open their gifts!  It was pretty cute!  I loved my results from day one.  Bruising and swelling and all!

Did you have an endoscopic brown lift, the older version or none at all?  What procedures did you have...I can't recall?

Upper lid lift, neck tightening and lower facelift. He said I didn't need my forehead lifted of my lower lids.

With my LBL/BA with lift I only got 23 hours. I honestly didn't know if I could get out of the hospital because I had very low blood pressure and almost passed out everytime I tried to get up. I pushed myself because the nursing care was so pathetic I figured I would be better off with people who loved me than some beligerant Nigerian hag who I couldn't understand. I can't imagine adding the thigh lift to it and getting out of there. As a matter of fact, only 1 of the 4 surgeons I met with would agree to do the thighs at the same time and the one that did was a big used car salesman, so I didn't take that with much seriousness.

Good luck darlin'! If you have good support I'm sure you'll do okay.
