brachioplasty Revision

Hi...

Has anyone had brachioplasty revision.If so what was the cost and are you happy with the outcome. The surgeon that did my 1st surgery quote me $3000 I was told it was a reduced rate. My arms are still flabby and one is bigger than the other. I do plan on switching surgeons.

can you go back to the same surgeon and get them to fix it for free? if they messed up, you should be able to do that right? or am I being naive? LOL

You would think but he is the one that said $3000 ...They said that was a good rate and they reduced his fee ...the quote was professional fee $1075 anesthesia $550. Cosmet assure $232. Hospital fee $925 ..I understand about the hospital fee and the anesthesia but think he should waive his professional fee?

wow that sucks. i guess that is something to ask before you get a surgery. what happens when you don't get the results you want! i'm terrified that will happen to me. 'sigh' good luck. not sure what your recourse is besides telling him since he didn't do it right the first time, he should waive his fee. but i suspect you already tried that.

I would think that most surgeons would waive there fee for a revision. Everything else I can understand. Can you tell me what the Cosmet Assure is for?

I think that is insurance if you are in the hospital due to complications from the surgery...not for sure of that? They acted like that was a great price that they discounted his fee. I guess I could ask if he will waive his fee and also get estimates from other surgeons..

I'm getting a revision on my arms and my stomach and my surgeon is not charging.. but we are also doing my thighs and a Breast lift at the same time. He offered to do it in his office but I wanted to be under anestesia for sure!

My surgeon offered revision without charge but my fear is he'll still not do good job and who wants to argue with the guy that could totally mess you up!
