Panniculectomy.. Done
I had my panniculectomy yest, recovering well now. I'm looking at my tummy now, nothing there below tho I'm left w/the top tummy hang now, guess not the 'flat normal tummy' I had expected. I'm def happy w/this, and I know I can work out for the top abs, any recommendations from folks who've gone thru similar?
What type of workout helps best for this area too now?
Thx

Hi Dancer! Congrats on your panni! I havent had surgery yet but i will be having surgery next friday and im having just a panni not the full tummy tuck and i am too wondering about the top part and how im going to tone it up. Looking at your ticker , you have 35 more pounds to lose , is that true? Im sure you can tone up the upper part of your stomach with excercises. Good luck to you!
Well.. 35 lbs to go to get to my personal goal of 110 tho my husb says I might look too thin & frail at that weight. So we'll see how my body does & where it wants to stop on its own I guess. I'm going to give the Zumba DVD a shot as well, since I only hv remaining fat in that upper tummy now, it has to go from there only (I hope)
Thx & good luck w/ur surgery as well!

unfortunately unless an inverted T is done there usually is loose skin above the belly button. I have heard that you can only tighten the muscle not the loose skin.. But I am by no means a fitness buff so maybe that is not the case.
For now enjoy the new you!!
