I am home

Hi All,
First, thanks for your prayers and well wishes.  I went into surgery feeling wrapped in our community ****oon.  You guys are the best!

Second, surgery was 6 1/2 to 7 hours and my hospital stay was 6 days.  Percocet has become my new BFF!!!!!!!!!!!  Because of the size and location of the hernias I got full tummy tuck instead if just a panniculectomy.  Doc said I now have a six-pack.  I will have take his word for it as I can't see it through the tubes, drains, stitches and swelling.

I am hazy  because of pain meds, but will check in and update when I can.  I am sure lots of questions will be forthcoming.

I bet your are thrilled to be home...and you will be so happy you got a TT instead of a panniculectomy..it will be worth it!

Congratulations on being home with a new 6 pack!  That's quite an accomplishment considering that you went in for a panni.  You must be delighted.  Rest a lot, get in your protein, fluids and vitamins and let your body go to work doing it's healing routine.

Congratulations!  I hope you have an uneventful recovery.  Take it slow.
