A couple of weekends ago I wore a sleeveless dress for the first time in public in about 10 years. It was very liberating!! I am about 9 weeks out from a BL and Extended brachioplasty. I am loving the results... my PS is a rockstar!! I finally am starting to feel comfortable in my own skin and feel like I look my age again. I can't wait to get my LBL on Feb 28 and my medial thigh lift on June 11!! I am ready to be done with this phase of my transformation and be able to fully enjoy my new body. I was terrified before I had my BL and brachioplasty. It was the very first major surgery I had ever had. I was so worried that I would regret it. I don't regret a thing and would do it all again in a heartbeat.
I just wanted to share this pic of my current progress with y'all. Thanks for all the support!!
ps. it was also fun not needing to find a strapless bra to wear with the gown. I love my new perky chest! :)
pps. I used dermablend that night to cover the scars and loved it.

You look gorgeous. I'm still in awe of your surgeon's work on your arms! I was wondering about something...
You mentioned covering the scars with Dermablend. I was wondering if anyone ever does the scar camoflauge tattooing on arm scars (after they are healed and the redness is gone in a year or two)?
I know it's common to use it to do things like blending scars around the areola after a breast lift, and some people use it on run of the mill scars, but I wonder if it would do anything to help hide arm scars? I don't scar badly at all, but my scars show up very white in contrast to my skin, so I would think that tattooing them to match my skin color would help a bunch. Here's a link that shows what I'm talking about on a facelift scar...

Thank you so much!!
Also, thanks for sharing that link with me. I had never heard of that. I am super fair, as you can see, so I am hoping that my scars turn really white and blend in with my skin color. However, if they don't do that, this could be a great permanent thing to look into. The facelift scar tattoo on that site looks really good. I don't see why it wouldn't work on arms.

Thanks! I really liked the Dermablend. It stayed on really well. A tiny bit may have come off as I danced the night away :), but I just checked the dress and I don't see any makeup on it. I did use the setting powder. I think it is a must! I had a wedding to attend earlier in the day. The dress I wore to that had sleeves. So, what I did was put the makeup on early in the day and wear it under sleeves for a while before I changed into my gown. I think that helped because if there was any excess makeup it probably ended up inside the sleeve of my other dress instead of on the outside of any of my clothes. I am so glad that I was able to find something that works well. Good luck!!
Congrats on your daughter's wedding! I hope y'all have a wonderful time!
