Denise,
I have to say that this post you started and all the awesome responses from everyone, is probably the most meaningful things I've read anywhere on OH to date. We all "fail" or flounder in our lives. We all have many trials to go through and the the thing that defines us is how we handle adversity and come out on the other side.
It's obvious to me that you are a strong and powerful person! I just can't tell you what an inspiration you are to me. I would have never "met" you if it weren't for the plastics board and I am really glad I did. I think you're beautiful, as you were before your WLS, after, and post plastics. I think your guts and heart are pretty gorgeous, too! Thank you so much for sharing this part of yourself. Big Hugs!

Heidi

PS...Rose (Sublimate) I think you're wonderful, too!

Wow. What can I say? You have no idea how incredible it is to me to read your note and realize it is me and my writings that you are talking about. It serves to remind me that we are all stronger and more powerful than we can ever imagine. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you sharing your thoughts with me. I think I am going to print it and read it every day. It is wonderful people like yourself that keep me coming back to these boards. As you said, this board has availed me to "meet" awesome folks such as yourself and for that I am very grateful. Thank you for absolutely making my day!!

The best to you always,

Denise

So happy for you!! And so glad you have the mental part ironed out. To me that's the toughest part of this whole journey.

You look amazing!!
