Baby steps towards surgery!

Hello everyone,

I am just so excited to finally be on my way to getting my plastic surgeries done and I wanted to share it with someone because trying to share it with my mother is just stressful and she is very negative and not happy for me. It's been almost 7 years since I have had gastric bypass and it is about time that this is going to happen, it has been really weighing on my mind and has kept me from a good bit of things in my life!

Paying extra on my car every month, got my credit score so I can monitor and make sure that it is in good shape, and just got a credit card to build my credit a little more (I have little credit).

This is FINALLY going to happen!!!!!

good for you!  It can happen...and it is worth it.  You know you can use care credit for plastics at alot of docs...that is an option to help finance it.

Thank you so much! I am going for a consult for the University of MD and they do not accept any kind of financing in that form, BUT I still have not ruled out another plastic surgeon that I have had a consult with 4/5 years ago and I know he does accept it, I just need to pay him a visit again.

I can not wait and I can only imagine how much its worth it, my one good friend is a little upset that I am going to have these done but supports me and said he would be there to help me just he has been through this twice. His mother had WLS and then a total body lift and his ex-fiance did as well and just doesnt want to see me go through that pain.... he does not understand that the pain is temporary (hopefully) but the results and the mental change from it is so worth it!

You're only regret will be that you didn't do it sooner. Best of luck to you.

i know that for sure... actually was going to do it about 4/5 years ago but multiple deaths in the family weeks apart and then finding out i was pregnant put it on hold... but now im ready and its time!

Well after everything said and done I eventually want to have a lower body lift (with an anchor cut because i do have that little ugly pouch of skin above the bb), thigh lift, breast lift? (maybe - when I had a consult a few years ago the surgeon said he liked where they were at just needed volume), breast augmentation, and arm lift
