Post-Op Pics Posted
I finally got some pictures taken. Unfortunately, I do not have the before pictures. My PS will give them to me at my next appt and I will add them later. It is a huge difference.
I'm 11 days out of surgery. I had a lower body lift and breast lift.
You can still see bruising, scabs, and tape burns.I'm happy with my shape. My back looks a little weird (heavier than I think it normally does) as I am still stooped over from the tightening.
In accordance with OH's Terms of service, the photos are on my profile with appropriate "covering" of private areas and you must be a friend to view. Password is plastics.

Hi Plum,
I'm sure you're a delightful person. For my own privacy and security (work) I don't friend people who do not have personal pictures posted on OH. Please feel free to ask me any questions you'd like, here on the forum.
Thanks for understanding. I'm sure you have your own personal reasons for not posting pictures of yourself.

Honestly, this has been harder than I planned. Much harder than my RNY or childbirth. I had convinced myself that the first three days were the hardest and I could handle three days.
A lower body lift is the most extensive of the plastic surgeries. It was a good six - seven days before I turned the corner.Yesterday, post-op day 11 was my first day without pain meds. The pain isn't horrible, but it takes time to recover.
I think of myself as strong and a good healer. DH had to going out of town that first week (I had caretakers, I wasn't alone). Then healing didn't go according to my plan, I had a couple of emotional moments. You'll get them too for whatever reason you rationalize. They are part of the process, just be prepared.
At 12 days out, I'd say it has been worth it.

Kay, you look amazing. Your surgeon is an artist, for sure! I looked through your older posts, and unless I missed it, I did not see the name of your surgeon. I'd love to know his or her name. If you don't want to post it here, could you pm me and let me know.
Those are some of the best incisions I've seen anywhere. Thanks a million for posting your pictures. We are very similar in height and weight (I think I'm older at 51), and it's really helpful to see since I'm planning a bl/tt soon. Congratulations on being on the other side of this major surgery. You look WONDERFUL!!
