Fleur de Lis Abdominoplasty in 2 1/2 weeks - ??
At seven weeks out I can finally answer the size question. I've been wearing yoga pants for six weeks so was clueless. I also was in my surgical binders 24/7 for six weeks.
I went into surgery wearing a size 10 years. Last week I stripped off the binders and went to Old Navy and found my perfect fit in jeans. Small waist and fuller through the hips (Sweet Heart jeans). Size 6 short (I'm 5'4") fit me like a perfect glove. I can even get them on over my Flexee leggings if I feel like it.
I went into my Lower Body Lift with my waist between 30-31. Now my waist is 26". (because of the new belly button, I'm not sure where my old waist is, but I love my new one!) I'm very pleased with my 36-26-36 measurements. Doctor Sauceda performed magic on this worn out skin!!

You must be beyond thrilled. While I have only recently started visiting this forum, your results are beyond anything I would have imagined. Is that the brand jean you normally wear? That is such a huge transformation, and I love it that you did it for yourself at the age we are. I have no doubt if I had never started lurking and coming to this forum, I would not have consults lined up. I've been coming on and off for a year, but results like your results are so inspiring. It looks like veryone are happy with their decisions to have PS no matter who does it or where it is performed.
I'm really pleased. Now the real work to maintain this new body begins through good eating and exercise.
Everyone says that our metabolism gets a bit revved up post op. Now that I'm 7 weeks out, I need to cut back on the carbs and focus more on protein and veggies. I'm almost two years post VSG but I've been slowly losing weight the entire time. I'd still like to drop 4-5 pounds if I can.
