Does he remove the lumps?
I am scheduled to do Thighs, TT, BL,BA, and neck lift next month with Dr S in Mexico. I will discuss this when I arrive, and I am sure he will give me good results, but I was wondering..........
I have lots and lots of lumps in my right breast. Actually to many for me to really keep track of them all. And the most recent one is on the top of my breast and I first noticed it by looking down. I can see it kind of sticking out a bit without having to touch it. I am not sure if my left breast has any, but my right breast is about a size bigger than my left probably from the lumps. (I am current with my mamograms, I have had a couple biopsys, and ultrasounds, so not worried about cancer or anything) But do you think the Dr will remove all or some of the lumps before adding the implants?
I guess I am kind of hoping he will because then I would be starting new with no lumps, then when I develop something new I would know it was a new lump. Then I can keep on top of it easier. But wondering that if he has so much to remove that it would #1 be a more difficult recovery and #2 not as great results. So just wondering if anyone has any insight.
Thanks, Jennifer

I did mention the lumps in the email to the Dr with all my pics. I am going to bring it up again when I go in for the surgery. I guess it was just something I was just wondering about while I wait. I dont know what the cause of the lumps is, I just know I started getting them in high school. It has a name, but I just cant remember at this time what its referered too. One time the Dr who did my biopsy came and explained it to me. She said they could do surgery to remove them but didnt really recomend it because I would be left with next to nothing. At that time I wasnt thinking about implants so wasnt really an option.

I think what you have is fibrocystic breast disease, which is benign breast lumps. Certain things can aggravate the condition, but they can also recur. I doubt that a PS would remove the lumps, although, I may be wrong. I would discuss this with your GYN person and make sure that they are benign.

Gail is right that is what your lumps sound like. I'd say he won't remove the lumps - but he will just remove what he needs to for the Lift (if you're having a lift) and then place the implants. I have these also and they are uncomfortable when I consume a lot of caffeine. I was told the same as Gail that they can recur and they are benign.
