Question - arm surgery recovery time...
I plan to have the surgery to remove loose skin from my arms. How long after this surgery were you able to type and do light office-desk work?
I am able to work from home on my computer. Do you think I would be able to work half days after two weeks off following the surgery? So I would be typing, using the computer, writing with pen/pencil at a desk, shuffling papers in files, etc. for about 4 hours a day... no heavy lifting involved. If anything needed to be lifted (say a heavy file or a laptop) my hubby could assist.
What say you?

I had my arms and TT done on January 6th. Went to first post op visit on the 9th and got drains out of arms. Went to work on the 11th for about 2 hours and back to work FT on the 17th. I manage a restaurant and had no problems at all. I got my non-absorbable stitches out yesterday. Aaah, feels so good not to have pokey stitches in my arm pits! I didn't take any Rx pain meds after day 3. There has been discomfort but real pain has been at a minimum. My arms look great and my muffin top is gone forever!! You will be sooo happy you did this.
