Ok, Tummy Tuck Scheduled!!!!

February 17th is my day for surgery and im super excited. I have a question for anyone who's had TT. Did you lose more weight after TT , If so did it effect the changes in your new flat tumnny?? Im not at goal yet but very close to it and right now ive been maintaining my current weight for a couple of month.

I just had my TT 2 weeks ago..I have lost 5 lbs but the shape difference is from the surgery not the wt loss.  I am very happy with my results and glad I did it.

Val, you lucky girl! I'm jealous! I'm going the plastics route as well, but we're trying to get insurance to pay for it, since I'm having issues with rashes. Keep us updated, I'll anxiously await your fabulous results!!

Hi Val,

   I just had my TT and arms done 3 weeks ago.  I was 139 day of surgery and today I am 134.  They said they removed 4.5 lbs of skin.  I still have some swelling in the belly but the arms seem to be back to normal and I think they look great!  So I might have lost a lb or 2 since surgery still considering some swelling.  I have had an unbelievably easy recovery- only missed 7 days of work, and very little pain.  There has been discomfort, but no pain meds since day 3. You will LOVE your new belly. NO MORE MUFFIN TOP!!!

Wow Lisa I wish I had it as easy. I had mine on Jan 9 - still very tight and sore - and its hard for me to walk straightened up.

As far as the original question, they cut off 3 lbs of flesh, and lipo'd out 2 liters of fat - which is about another 2.5 lbs.
