No donations, needed, but thanks so much for offering. People brought so much food and stuff yesterday, that someone had to donate a place to store it all. They were asking for people to adopt or foster (the police department was asking), but now that the Humane Society has the animals, it looks like they are going to hold them a while for "legal reasons". They said that they have over 60 applications for fosters so far, so they are off to a good start.
I have two Giant Schauzers and a Yorkie. My best friend has an 11 year old cat, and that kitty is her lifeline.
Alabama needs to find a way to regulate these types of places, for sure, since this kind of thing happens often here.
