Wow.. removing my photo now..

 Damn, I would have dressed a little nicer if I had known my Photo' were going "Primetime" Bad things happen to Bad people....

Just when I was hoping to show of my "goods" in a few weeks.. I suppose now with this, no way no how..

My understanding is that if they like or think one of our posts would be encouraging to members or nonmembers at the Facebook OH page, they create a link on the Facebook OH page from the OH website. That means they can see our post with any pics in that post. I have never used my real name here on OH, but I have posted pics. I was ok with sharing pics here on OH website only as it is highly unlikely that the people I know that don't know about my surgery would find the OH website. But creating a link to our OH website posts on the OH Facebook site is way too close for comfort. My friends/acquaintences that do not know my history with obesity or this surgery could come across my after pics on the OH Facebook site if they link to one of my posts there. That friend/acquaintence could then go digging around for the before pics. I am not ok with that.

I deleted all of my pictures here on OH yesterday. Today I went through all of my historical posts and deleted any pics I posted in them. This site just became a whole lot less supportive for me because of this. I can no longer share my photos with others to encourage and support them and now a whole lot of others won't be posting their photos to encourage me.

Yeah, yeah... I know... if you post your pics out on the internet anywhere they are out there forever. BUT this is the one site where I felt safe posting pics as long as I didn't post my real name. No one I know is going to be out purposely surfing an obesity website or expecting to see me on it. But Facebook linkage is a whole other ball game. They could accidentally come across it while just surfing around on Facebook. That is too close for comfort for me. I'm still posting for now, but I honestly don't know what my future here at OH will be. Posting pictures is now out of the question, though. 

Also, once OH moderators discover what this thread is about, they will remove it to the Unmoderated Rants & Raves Forum. You can find it by going to Formus / Off Topic / Unmoderated Rants & Raves. The angry posts about the OH Facebook page were all over the MainBoard and all of the other forums a couple of days ago. People were angry and creating multiple posts about it. Apparently the OH moderators didn't care for all of the attention this topic was getting and promptly moved all posts to the Unmoderated Rants & Raves Forum. This one will surely get moved there, too. They will say it's because the other forums are for weight loss support and that this post belongs in Rants & Raves. But seriously? We are not idiots. All of these posts were not good (and continue to not be good) for OH business. Hence the removal of the posts.

I have always been happy posting on OH and enjoyed the support that I have both given and received here. This Facebook OH thing has really got me pissed off, though.
