Post tummy tuck questions??

great thread. i just had my tuck on the 10th and it seem like it is taking forever to heal, my drains are still in and are still draining too much to be removed.

 Thank u for the responses....it is nice to not feel alone!  I am just so very surprised to find myself feeling this way because this is something that I wanted very much!  It feels good to just whine here.....my husband and friends are very supportive but unless they have been through this I do not think they get it.  I appreciate this board and all of u so much...

 Patty, just keep posting here. We've all had different experiences, but regardless, we all get it!

 Patty, when I got home from Mexico, I took 1/4 of a Vicodin every four hours, just to keep something in my system.  When needed I took 1/2 of one.  I later switched to Tylenol. I prefer Vicodin because ots easier on the liver.  I found that keeping that minimal pain reliever was better than nothing and kept me on a more steady keel.

I bet tomorrow will be even easier on you.  This is major surgery. Pamper yourself!  You'll be back on the fast track before you blink.

 Resting all day has been good.  I am trying to be more realistic with my expectations and not expect too much...plus I have decided I still do need some pain meds.

Everyday gets better...   That is so lucky that u didn't.
't have any lipo pain, that is the bigger if my two I think.  

This two shall pass right!!
