 Amen, sister!

I applaud you for even being able to go to work at this stage. Remember, you are not even a month out yet!  You are doing exceptionally well considering the stress your body has gone under.  Patience.

I like to preach patience since I have none of it myself.

I have a hard time with patience too.. I used to pray for patience all the time.. then I had my son who God bless him has ADHD.. problem solved.

Now, with the PS, I am really trying not to be so hard on myself. Thanks for the encouragement!

I am only a week out but I have already realized that plastic surg is hard!  It takes along time to feel normal again and I do not even know since I am too soon out.
I think it is one day at a time for us all......

Michelle,
I went back to work (teacher) after 1.5 weeks from LBL & medial thigh revision.  I was fine until weekd 3 when I hit that wall!  I will tell you that I have taken pain meds a couple of nights not due to severe pain, but because I couldn't get comfortable to sleep and sleep well.  I talked to my PCP and she recommended that I try Benedryll too (which I have used in the past for sleep)  Benedryll helps me sleep MUCH better and longer!  You know you need the sleep which is the frustrating part.

To be honest I have also been allowed (last week) to go back to working out (walking only - no incline, and weights less that 20lbs), but that has helped with the sleeping a lot too.

Also, a hot shower is my friend!

I tried Melatonin and Benadryl too.. I finally had more than 5 hours of sleep.. It was great! Thanks for the recommendation..
