Prolly been asked here before but when did you start wearing deodorant?
Today is the first day I have felt a tad sweaty.
But before I reach for the Secret...thought I should ask!

I'm gonna send my guy an email but I'm curious.

Thanks!!

Don't really remember but I'm pretty sure I wore it once I went back to work after my procedures which was 4 weeks. Didn't really care before that since I was just at home by myself.

If your incisions have not fully healed, I would not risk it. Honestly, I don't think I wore it for months.

I'm six weeks out today, but don't feel completely healed in my underarms so I'm still waiting.  Incredibly, it occurred to me yesterday that I really haven't needed it or thought about it.

My pits were barking!!! I could not wait to use something other than soap.

Thankfully my nurses helped a girl out and even shaved them for me. I was however able to wear deodorant after the scabs had fallen off which was about 5 weeks.

I was allowed to wear it at 2 weeks.

I wore it around 1 and a half weeks. My surgeon said it was okay. I didn't have any odor yet but I am OCD about smells so I was ready, ready, ready to be able to wear it. No problems for me

So it didn't occur to me that my surgeon might have done something outside the norm. She removed all the hair bearing skin and sweat glands from my underarms during my extended brachioplasty. I haven't been sweaty at all.

Is that uncommon?

No, I don't think its too uncommon. Mine removed all but about one square inch of hair bearing skin (or even less).  One swipe of the razor and its done.  It is wonderful!!  I think I still have some sweat glands there, but not as many as before...

How about rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle? or even 50% water and rubbing alcohol?

I always spray my pits before I apply the antiperspirant It makes it go on evenly and I think I can use less. The alcohol help fight the bacteria which cause the stink.
