Love this bra!!

After my extended brachio and BL I stayed in the front opening sports bra that my PS gave me for 2 weeks.  I HATE sports bras!  I transitioned back into a comfy-ish underwire bra at 2 weeks.  It really didn't bother me until the end of the day.  By the time I was unwinding every evening, I just had to take it off.  I hated that I either had to put on a sports bra or keep the underwire bra on or just not wear a bra at night.  A couple of weeks ago I bought one of those Genie Bras from CVS that are advertised on tv.  I LOVE it!! I still prefer my underwire for during the day, but I change into the genie bra right when I get home.  I use the pads that come with it because I like the added protection that gives over my nipples and the added shape.  However, it is super comfy without them as well.  I wasn't able to put things over my head for the first couple of weeks, but even though this bra doesn't have a clasp, I wish I would have known about it right after my surgery.  I am able to step into it if I don't want to put it over my head.

I just wanted to share this with y'all in case you are having some bra issues post op.  It is also nice because they come in S, M, L, XL, XXL instead of 34B 36D etc.  I have no clue what size I am right now.  I went to Victoria's secret and they measured me as a 36/38 C or 36/38 D. (She said I was in between on both measurements) The 36 C was too big in the cup though. ...

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Thanks for the tip! My friend had bought some and let me try it on. Not enough support at the time, but it was comfy. I can see how it would be good for after surgery. I've read that a lot of women wear bras to bed following their procedures. Now that I've got a date for my BL/BA, I think I'll check them out again.

Thanks for the review. My husband was at the store the other day and called to ask if he should pick me one up. The only problem was they didn't have my size. Think I'll go searching now!!

Have a great day!!

I don't think I have a Genie, I think it's an AHHHH or something that they sell on TV.  My friend got a bunch and sold me one.  It was great pre-op in a S/XS but it's a touch snug on those incisions now.  My incisions are still tender.  My nipples are ultra tender.  I want to wear a sign that says"back off, stay the F away from me". I went to a funeral last week and tense people about kiled me with all their tight hugging.  I'll look for the Genie if it has padding.

Im six weeks out tomorrow and don't own a bra yet.  This summer Nordstroms put me in a 34DDD because I measured 32 in the band area.  I measured myself yesterday and it's down to 30".  I'm 36 across the breasts so who knows what the heck I'll be now.  Thank goodness I got some reduction with this lift!  I asked for a full C.
