BACK to work!
Today was my 1st day back at work. I woke up rather late but it was great to actually talk to people again. There is a most definite value to working beyond paying bills etc. The day went rather well. It took some getting used to my office chair again.
I felt rather accomplished. I made it the entire day!

Sounds like it went great!! So glad. Being a stay-home mom I can definitely say there is something to getting out of the 4 walls and talking to adults!! Seems most of my adult talk is here on OH!
Glad it went well! Hope each day just gets better!

Good for you MIchelle! I hope you went to bed early! Keep your rest up!
Words of advice from one person 5 days ahead- do not be suprised when part way into this week it feels like a brick wall hits you! Come to find out it is normal and it is your body still healing! (I am currently figuring out how to move through this part quickly....I didnt do so well the last time, but I had necrosis and part of a wound that would not heal!
Keep up the enthusiasm and PROTEIN! (I struggled to find my routine again!)

Good for you!
I am a 'work at home' --- last week, I submitted for LOA and short term disability for the days I need to have off for my TT (March).
I will have surgery on a Thursday, and have asked to have the following week off (so, 7 days).
I told my boss that I would like to not have to travel for at least 4 weeks -- -don't want to have to deal with luggage and seatbelts for that long.
Working from home, I can take breaks and snooze a bit during lunch if I need to.
Let us know how the week goes for you!
