Hey PS vets...possible stitch abscess? Sorry gross pics
So weird I have the same exact wound, started slowly on Thursday. Mine does not hurt @ all but that might be numb spot. It has so much clear or pink discharge coming out I have to change stomach pads 2 times a day. An it seems like there is some puss when I change the pads. It has just been more heave sense Saturday. One of my drainage bags that has dark drainage is smelling really bad an has a cloudy white film in the bag. I called my doctor an am going in in a hour. I hope you got in to see your Doctor today too. It is kinda scary.
I was thinking because I had duodenal Switch that maybe the antibiotics they gave me are not fast absorbing an I'm not getting all the antibiotic absorbed. Gona ask for liquid or fast absorbing. Well good luck I'll Tell you what he says.

Went to the Doc an he said completely normal. Just to cover it with stomach pad an wash off with sterile stuff. It will heal an the slimy stuff on the bandage is not puss just from healing. So from what my doc said just keep some thing for it to absorb the ozzing an it will go away. HOPe yours is OK to! But from the looks of it it is gona be fine too

Well of course today, the day I go see the doctor it looks 100% better, but I showed him my pictures. Last nights pictures looked so much worse than the ones from before, but by morning it was almost gone, still draining though. I went in, he looked at the pics and the incision. He poked a long Q-tip into the whole (I almost came off of the table after him) He said what ever it was it seems to be taking care of itself. There is no need to pack the whole, it will close on its own. There is no infection. Just keep it clean. YAY!! I already had an appointment for next week, now he does not need to see me for another month. Unless of course I have any complications. 
Whew...so happy for the news. And thanks so much for all you your responses. I know this is the place to be!!
