its not the skin hanging under the arm! it the fat just below your arm pit! around the breast area! anyone know what that is considered? cant seem to find a term for it anywhere! anyone have any ideas?

I dont know if there is a proper term but I refer to it as the "side boob"..right below arm pit where your bra wraps around your torso. My PS removed this during my BA/BL. I have an incision that runs along that area.. I used to tuck it in my bra as much as I could.

well i wish i could tuck it into my bra! its about 4-5 inches wide so then i have a smaller boob hanging rt under my armpit and after awhile it starts to hurt! i used to say if i could just get rid of the skin on my beely i will bw happy! well that was a big ol lie! lol! my sugeon is trying to get it covered trough my insurance co! wish me luck!

I think it is called the side boob area. It is what my surgeon plans on using to make my boobs match.

You can also get it done with a brachioplasty as I did. That is what makes it into an "extended" brachioplasty.

I've also heard it called "bra bulge". I had an extended brachioplasty, but some of it is still there. After losing 200 pounds, I had tons of excess skin. Mine will fully get taken care of when I get my breast implants.

I had it bad. Horrible side boobage.
I had an extended mastopexy and extended brachioplasty to address it.

Basically a big loooong cut from the elbow, up my arm, thru my pit and down below the breast.
He excised so much tissue from my underarm.
Man, it hurt. Much better now but there was so much that needed to come off.

When I had my arm lift the surgeon came down my side about 6 inches from my arm pit - that took care of the extra skin.
