XP: Five Week Update!

I think my cheeks are great. I've always had good bone  structure.  My face is still most likely a bit swollen so it will be fun to see how it looks later.  I think that having face work in your 40'sor even 50's is different than being in our 60's after decades of morbid obesity.  I think that I will ultimately be very pleased. The fat transfer was in my lower face as it was much too thin.  Twenty pounds ago, a kaiser PS told me not to lose more weight because of what would happen to my face.  I had to shed the last twenty for better health.

As far as my tummy, I'm told by others that it's very flat.  I was reminded by a friend tonight when I talked about it that it's so flat that if I need to poop (sorry), my tummy gets a little buldge.  Other of his patients feel like their tummy is incredibly tight.  I didn't have a tummy tuck or an anchor cut, just the LBL because I really needed the outer thighs and tush repaired.  I didn't have much above the waist compared to below.

As far as finding Dr. Saucedas weakness, I haven't found it yet.  I tend to focus on his brilliant points because I think he is.  Given my age, four decades of morbid obesity, the condition of my skin and the amount of work I asked him to do for me, I'd say the results are quite miraculous.

When I look at myself naked in the mirror I'm thrilled.  My doctor *****moved some stitches told me that the running stitch that Dr. S does is perfect for great scar healing.  I'm looking forward to it.

Well Geez, I thought you had a tummy tuck! I guess you got your money's worth, for sure, if you got a flat tummy from just a LBL! That's great. After I wrote what I did, I got to thinking that the vast majority of the accounts that I've read have been written by those of us who were morbidly obese. It's not fair at all to judge a tummy tuck on someone who has lost tons of weight when compared to the pictures of beach beauties who live around my neck of the woods and went in for a little tightening.

I was wondering about a cheek lift because Dr. Alicia Sigler suggested that I need a cheek lift. Like you, I thought I already had cheeks, lol. I started reading about cheek lifts, and it seems that the people who love theirs LOVE theirs,  and the one's who hate their results REALLY hate them. I'm going to do a lot more research before doing a cheek lift, but I need to address my saggy neckline YESTERDAY. It totally ruins my whole look. I just realized when I was taking my passport photos (and had to take about 50 pics to get a decent one) that I need to get my neck fixed ASAP.

Dr. Saucedas sounds wonderful. I've met three great doctors in my life, and once you run across one, the "average joes" just won't do any more.

Thanks a million for the info.

Lee! I'm going to jump in here and steal a bit of your thunder!  Sorry!  But I wanted to brag about my facelift, since you're talking about the brillant Dr S and his skills to make us better than we could ever imagine!

Yesterday, I was told by a perfect stranger that I didn't look like I was old enough to have a 24 year old daughter.  I'm 46.  He told me that I look like I am 34 at the most.  He had no reason to flirt with me, he was a man in his 20's.  I asked him about his tatoos because my daughter wants to get a Snoopy Tat in a chef's jacket.  He had one.  I thank Dr S for that compliment!  I smile all day long - especially when I see myself in the in mirror!  I was so frightening before and I looked like I was in my late 50's or 60's.

That's a great complement, for sure! I'd love to see a closer picture of your facial work. You look great in your avi, but it's so darned tiny! I wish I could skip the body work for now and just do my face, but I've got to address these old implant right away. I guess the advantage to going to Dr. S would be that I COULD get it all done at once, but I just don't think I'm physically up to it right now. I'll do the body work and the face work a few months apart, just to make the recovery easier for myself.
