Hi, I am looking into PS for my arms and a breast augmentation. Do any of youi guys know what the average price is for the arms? A few people in the houston area had told me about 4500 for arms and now that I am looking into it they are quoting me anywhere for 6000-9000 for it. I have to money for arms/breast if I can get to the original price I was thinking. What is the average cost for the bracho?

My highest quote for extended brachio (to include the side boobs) was $11,000 but I was told by that office that with a (very likely) revision it would really finish out at around $14,000. The guy I went with though, charges I think $6000 for regular brachio and I paid $8000 for extended (but I also went with general anethesia which was $500 extra). I did end up needing a revision, but this guy is doing that basically for free (I have to pay a few hundred for the anesthesia or I can have it done completely free during my next surgery).

I also read about lower average prices, but never found any that were that low. It may be because I'm in Southern California and everything is high here.

Extended Brachio: 12/21/11
SW/HW: 238 10/2008 ~ Didn't have WLS but wish I had.
Got down to 106 but gained back to 144 (did not take my dad's death well).
CW: 123 ~ Goal: reach/maintain 115

You're in TX pricing should be cheaper. I am also in CA where the roads are paved with gold and you pay a pretty penny for a shack of house..I have seen 6k for arms in CA but in other parts of the country 4k. It depends on your surgeon and area..

I would recommend getting a PS that specializes in WLS patients and get multiple quotes. You should ask if the 6-9k quote includes an overnight stay at the surgery center/hospital?

Good luck on that.. I too would love to get my arms done.. but it will be over a year from now..

I just had arms and TT done in New Orleans last Friday for $13200 and so far they look great.  Pre op and post op visits included.  No hospital stay.

Hello trying to obtain some information from your post that you left on the site. I had Gastric Bypass in 2012 and I need to have the excess skin removed in your post i don't know if you had it with the residency program or you didn't can you advise. I only need the Tummy Tuck to remove the excess skin it's about 6 to 10 pounds i would guess.

Thanks

Bryan

I was quoted between 3,800 and 5,000 for brachio alone (3 different surgeons).

I went with my favorite surgeon and paid 9,000 total for Brachio and Breast lift -- about 4,500 each -- outpatient in a surgical center with full anesthesia -- and 1 year of follow up visits with the surgeon.

Very pleased and have my tt scheduled with the same surgeon at the same surgical center in March

You probably already know this, but combining procedures reduces the cost quite a bit in some cases. If you are pricing the arms seperate from the breast work, it will probably be a couple of thousand more than it will be with a combined quote. That's what I'm finding with a tummy tuck/breast lift, anyway.

 HI!

I want to explain the costs so we can make sure we are comparing apples to apples. Sometimes folks just post the surgeon's fee and don't include the other fees involved.

Here's what a quote of mine looked like -

$3100 surgeon fee for arm lift
$750 for saline breast implants
OR
$1000/1500 for silicone (depending on the type I think)

The Operating room fee and the Anasthethia fees are quoted on an hourly rate. My surgeon makes no profit on that and the fees are paid directy to the anasthesiologist and to the Surgical Center.  I can share those fees with you if you want but it may be hard to know the pro-rata for the arm lift alone as I was quoted with 2 other procedures, one of which is time consuming.

I had a breast lift via Lejour method on a previous surgery and the surgeon fee on that was $4500

On RealSelf.com 22 women report an average cost of $9800 for an arm lift
897 women report an average cost of $6600 for breast augmentation

Obviously both those figures are for stand alone procedures. The top number could be skewed, I saw a woman reporting it as $45,000 when I bet she meant $4500.

Here's a residency program in New Orleans with a price list if you are interested. I'm sure there are some of these programs in Houston, too, since you have some of the best teaching hospitals in the U.S. over that way...
