My PS Consult Update
I visited with a good PS on December 20th. He comes highly recommended by many people in this area. I was very pleased with his interaction and I asked a ton of questions. It was a little weird to be "handled" by him...but he put me at ease.
His office is going to submit to insurance for my tummy, since my rashes just will not go away. My assumption is they will only pay for a panni, but when I asked him, he said he would release my belly button and give me a new one no matter what they pay for. He said I would have a very tight flat tummy when he's done.
He is also submitting for a BL/BA. When I lost all my weight, my right breast lost dramatically more volume and mass than the left one did. The difference is so profound I have to wear a air pillow on the right side. Without it, the hem on my shirts hang crooked, and my necklines on any shirt I wear skew to the right. We'll see what insurance comes back with.
I called my insurance yesterday and they didn't have the codes the Doc's office sent to them. I had to call my PS's office to get them to send them again. I don't plan on having surgery until November, but I wanted to have plenty of time for the paperwork and if I have to appeal. I plan on having done what I can with insurance and finish up the rest with Dr. Sauceda.
This is a great board and I will continue to watch everyones great updates! Thanks everyone!
