Did your arms heal at the same rate or did your dominant arm heal faster? My right arm (I'm right-handed) is healing nicely, but my left is a seroma-filled uncomfortable mess.  Just wondering.

Also, does your brain ever re-wire itself to understand the new continuum of your skin? I find it very strange that when I run my finger across the incision my brain still 'feels' it as though I'd touched the front of my arm and then jumped to the back of my arm... it isn't bothersome but LOL it sure feels strange!

I'm a month out. My arms appear to be healing about the same.  My dominant arm lost the scabs a few days earlier.  Perhaps from rubbing more on the compression garment?

When I rub the incision line it feels like its iChat where it is on the inside of my arm.

Cat I'm having the same exact experience and I'm 5 weeks out.

The skin mapping is getting a lot better, but the swelling gives that horrible Novocain "sleepy feeling" in both forearms which ate so swollen!

Hope you see more improvement than me by week 5!

I just thought of something about the dominant arm.  My nurse kept telling me that I was healing so well because I have great circulation from doing lots of exercise.  It would make sense that the circulation is even better in the dominant arm from being used more.

Does that make ant sense?
