BL or BA
Your PS will give you the best advice as they are able to assess what you have left and what can be done.
Plus, it is a matter of personal choice.
Both sides of the discussion are well represented here on this board!
I, myself, did not want the implant.
I don't like the look of them.
Plus- My surgeon felt I had enough tissue to make a nice perky breast.
What I would not have? The fullness at the top that an implant gives.
That did not matter to me.
I am not one to show cleavage. I don't wear low cut clothes. Just not my thing.
I am 4 weeks out today and really like my results.
A very natural looking breast was my ideal.
I have it.
I spent many years as an obese woman with huge breasts that hung low.
I just wanted them off of my belly!!
This is a popular question.
Really up to you.
(and your surgeon, of course!)
Good luck!

Janice,
If you like your size then do the BL.. I did the BA & BL in hindsight my recovery would have been easier with the BL only. My DH & I missed my boobies thats why I did both at the same time.. once my scars are healed I might re-evaluate the size.
My boobs are definitely perky.. I actually place a wash cloth over each nipple in my bra cause they are SO sensitive..

J,
I had my TT, BL BA, Thigh Lift and lipo done at the same time.. It was a lot for me. Personally, I was physically unable to get in and out of bed or out of a chair by myself for about 3-4 days.. My DH would wrap his arms around my back and lift me to a sitting position then help me up.
It is more expensive to have things done separately but in a way if you do it one at a time then I think you are better able to do more in less time.
It also depends on your cir****tances .. I have a 5 yr old son.. I had to send him to Grandma's house.. He is too active. My doggie I had to lock him out of the bedroom area.. again, very active and affectionate.
Even now, 2 weeks post, I am very tired. It takes me a long time to get showered and dressed. I am sore and a little scared that when I am out and about.. that someone will accidentally bump into me..
You have to consider.. who will be taking care of you afterwards to..Good luck on your decision.

If you look at my signature line, you'll see the procedures I had done last month.
I went into the final mark-up the night before surgery ready to get implants but only if I HAD to in order to have full perky breasts. After looking at pictures for over an hour, Dr. Sauceda said that he could make me what I wanted without the implants. I'm 61 and didn't want them if I didn't have to. I was concerned about them remaining perky and I knew I didn't want the ski-slope look that I often see in pics of just breast lift. I had a reduction at the same time. Before WLS I was a 42DDD, last summer Nordstrom's put me in a 34DDD but I lost some of that over the summer and fall. I asked for a full C because I've been big forever and wanted to be able to be perky in a sexy nighty without a bra.

If you have any sagging at all, get the lift. I talked a surgeon out of doing a full lift when I got implants 18 years ago. He did the lift around the areola, and I was always disappointed that I did not get more lift to the nipple area. He told me that I would have those results if he did not do a full lift, but I was afraid of the scars.
MANY surgeons suggest doing a lift first, implant later. A surgeon that I consulted with last week told me that she would do the lift first (I don't want implants due to a health problem), and if my health improved later and I wanted implants that it "would be really easy to go back in an put an implant in later".
If you are unsure, you could do the lift first and give it a year or so. If you are unhappy, you can have them do an implant later. Please do realize that implants do come with maintence. You really do need to replace them in eight to ten years. My salines deflated after eight years, and the doctors back then told people they would "last a lifetime". Gummies may have a longer life span, but I'm not sure how much long-term data there is on those. I read the other day that one in five patients with silicone need a revision or explant within the first few years. Also, revision and explants cost way more than the original surgery to implant, so be sure to save money upkeep so you don't get caught offguard with a sudden medical issue.

I had a lbl and bl done at the same time. I love my boobs now. They're not full on top, but with a bra they push up nicely to show some cleavage. I may go back later and get implants, but am not sure.
