I am scheduled for my LBL with muscle repair on 2/28. I have one more surgery after that one (a medial thigh lift with the incision only in the groin area). I am trying to place that one with a surgery date that gives me enough time to heal from the LBL before it and with enough time after it to be mobile by the time my best friend gives birth ( I want to be there that day if possible and be able to be with her to enjoy the baby that first week home). The earliest in April that I can have the 3rd surgery is the week of the 23rd. If I were to have the thigh surgery on April 24th, that would give me 8 weeks to heal from the LBL before surgery. Is that enough time to heal from the LBL and be back in surgery? I know that everyone heals differently, but I wanted to get y'all's opinions on whether or not you think it is enough time between the two surgeries. Also, that date would give me 3 weeks between the thigh surgery and my best friend's C-section. How is the healing process after a medial thigh lift in y'all's experience? When should I be able to walk with an okay sense of ease again? When should I feel okay to get out of the house and be a little active again after that surgery?
I would really appreciate all input on this. I am going to talk to my PS thursday and hopefully go ahead and schedule the 3rd surgery then. My surgeon schedules surgeries way in advance. I already am having to have the second surgery a month later than I had hoped because he booked up til then. I don't want to wait to long to book my 3rd surgery and run into the same problem.
Thanks for the advice!

My doctor doesn't seem to mind the surgeries being closer than that to each other. When I asked him how long I needed to wit between the first 2 surgeries, he said about 6 weeks. I am actually going to be waiting longer than that because his calendar filled up before I booked my second surgery. He has 2 conventions in January and february and doesn't want to leave town a month after my LBL in case I have any complications and need him during that time. It makes me feel better knowing that he will be in town in case I need him for anything.
I am not 100% sure how long he will require between the second 2 surgeries, but i am pretty sure that 2 weeks will be long enough for him. The main thing I am wondering is if I will physically feel up to having another surgery about 8 weeks out from my LBL. Even if he gives me the green light, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask opinions here...
Also, I am wondering about the healing time on a medial thigh lift.

My PS waits 3 months between surgeries.

I had a tummy tuck and thigh lift at the same time and my thigh was in the groin (panty line) area and came down the thigh about 3 inches)
The thighs have really given me no problem at all..the tummy has given the most discomfort.
I have a surgery scheduled Feb. 29. (had tt and tl on Dec. 28) for breast and arms so my doc has a 6 week wait between surgeries. Hope this helps and good luck with the surgery and recovery!

Because of the amount done on the first round, my guys wanted me to wait at least 3 months. Had I reversed the order and done the legs first, I could have had the second set in 4-6 weeks.
