So this morning was my 2nd post-op appt. 1 1/2 weeks since surgery. Incision healing is going very well, and I've been very careful about attempting to turn over when I'm trying to sleep.
The only glitch is a pain I've been having in my groin area, just on one side. The best way I can describe it is a burning feeling. I figured it was because my skin is so thin there and ps confirmed that. I hope it will decrease over time.
Had to ask if I still had to adhere to the no exercise for four weeks, although I knew the answer would be yes. The reasoning is the inside has to heal and we don't want any wound separation.
So, now don't have to go bac****il 1/16 and I'm thinking probably two more appts. after that and I'll be released!

Gracie,
Hooray and Happy healing..I walked inside target today.. OMG it felt like it was miles long of a walk.. My PS recommends lots of walking but I had a different surgery than you did.. Walking increased circulation therefore better healing?? I dunno..
Glad to hear you are doing so well..
