What is an anchor cut
the anchor cut didn't help my back at all. my lower back was fixed by the LBL but my upper back wasn't fixed at all with the anchor cut TT. that is why I am returning to get my breast lift and ubl. I agree with you Michelle, I would start with the anchor cut first. Or go to that surgeon who does the corsettruckplasty. That sounds great!

Especially for those who lose massive amounts of weight - it's vital that you're at goal in order to avoid many revisions. The longer you're at goal makes a big difference too. He has a picture on his website of a woman who had a LBL after losing a lot but wasn't at goal - she however was done losing weight and decided to just have it done.
I had my first phase done due to chronic back pain and mobility. I knew I'd have to have a revision and I had no problem with that. Getting to your goal weight is difficult when you have a lot of excess skin. I totally understand that frustration. But if you can get there and be there for at least 6 months prior to having your surgery you may not have to have any revisions.
I have been told by 3 separate surgeons and I have read online in several places that the more you lose, the more surgeries it takes to get you to your final result. Also, there is a limit as to how much Dr S can remove at one time.
If you can make it so he doesn't have to lipo your inner thighs and your arms, by losing more, maybe you can have it all done at once and just hope to not have to have a revision.
I think because you are consulting with Dr S and it's only via email. You should try to get some in person consults in. Most of the time these consults are free or they charge you a minimal amount of money. Most are very nice and willing to answer all of your questions and they can touch and feel and tell you exactly what you need and what they feel you can do to get the best result. Have you had any in person consults? I recommend everyone prior to going to Dr S to have 2 or 3 in person consults. If they still decide to go with Dr S - it's great, but I think it's good to have several opinions when it comes to plastic surgery. And after losing 200lbs your skin is going to be different from someone who has lost 80 or 100.
Believe me, I've been there!

I really think some in person consults would help you understand the process better and give you some idea about what you need done and what can be realistically done. Like Lee said, it's extremely important to have our expectations set. I once asked Dr S what was the difference between WLS patients and other patients who have plastics. He said that WLS patients are usually very good about having realistic expectations. I think it's vital to have some in person consults because they can tell you things Dr S cannot - since he is only seeing pictures of you via email.
